I specialize in documentary-style family photography.
I’ve spent the last five years living somewhere along Westside Road, and I find myself at Fintry Provincial Park multiple times a week.
I’ve photographed many sessions here, and I’ve come to know it really well — the quiet corners, the best light, the plants and animals. I am biased but it is a STUNNING place.
On one of my walks recently, this idea came to me:
Why don’t I offer camping sessions here?
I imaged —
Families fishing off the dock, paddleboarding, roasting marshmallows, kids running barefoot, reading books in the hammock.
You know that in the moment nostalgia that camping seems to bring? I want to capture that.
My family sessions are designed to feel easy and unhurried. I offer gentle guidance when needed while allowing space for real moments to unfold. The result is imagery that feels natural, emotive, and timeless — photographs that reflect your family as you are right now.
Sessions take place at Fintry Park in the Okanagan, a beautiful lakeside setting just outside Kelowna, known for its beaches, docks, and natural surroundings.

A Storyteller Session is a relaxed, documentary-style family photography experience focused on connection and natural moments. I offer gentle guidance when needed, with a few traditional portraits woven into the session.
What should we wear for our session?
I can provide you with simple styling guidance to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable. I have created simple pdfs that I can send to help with posing and outfits depending on the season and location of your session.
Do you help with posing?
Yes — gently. I offer light direction to help everyone feel at ease, but the focus is on natural interaction rather than stiff posing. The goal is for the session to feel enjoyable and unforced.
How many images will we receive?
I tend to deliver larger galleries because I love including the in-between moments—the candids, the outtakes, and even similarly posed images. I truly believe my clients know best what they’re drawn to, and I want you to have the freedom to choose the images that feel most like you. Your session includes 10 professionally edited digital images, with the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery once your images are ready for viewing.
Do you offer extended family sessions?
Extended family sessions are available and require additional planning. Please reach out for custom pricing and availability.
Do you offer family photography year-round in the Okanagan?
Yes. I photograph families year-round, with seasonal offerings that include winter snow sessions at Big White and outdoor sessions throughout the warmer months across the Okanagan.
